The members of SBG College of Nursing Belagavi presented the model on 5th August 2023. This competition was conducted to engage students to become creative and to realize the needs of cycles. We have presented models in our SBG College of Nursing. We are students of BSc Nursing 2nd semester with staff and vice principal sir.
The competition began at 9:00 am with the welcome speech by our staff Miss. Bersheba. There were totally 8 groups. Each group member created very creative and informative models and charts. Everyone explained in detail every cycle in each step. The judge was asking in between questions regarding the cycle and the students were able to answer. The 8 models were: –
- Glycolysis
- Gluconeogenesis
- TCA cycle
- Glycogenesis cycle
- Urea cycle
- Synthesis of bile salts
- TAG synthesis
- Lactic acid cycle
The presentation was judged by our Vice-principal Mr. Arun Angadi sir and Biochemistry lecturer Dr. Monica ma’am. The students presented their model content very well and were very effective in their academics. The prize distribution was done by Dr. Monica Ma’am and Mr. Arun Sir.
- 1st prize was given to 2nd group
- 2nd prize was given to 1st group
- 3rd prize was given to 6th & 8th group
