LAMP LIGHTING CEREMONY
The Lamp Lighting and Oath-Taking Ceremony for the 4TH batch of B.Sc. Nursing students was conducted at SBG College of Nursing, Belagavi in the esteemed presence of the Management, Principal and faculty members.
This solemn ceremony marks the official initiation of student nurses into the noble profession, symbolizing their commitment to service, compassion, and ethical nursing practices.
The event was a moment of pride, as students took their oath of dedication to uphold the values of the nursing profession with integrity and dedication


WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY
As part of the World Mental Health Day celebrations, a series of events were organized at DIMHANS, Dharwad, to promote awareness about mental well-being. The activities included a photography and reels competition and an informative seminar on the theme “Mental Health at the Workplace.”
These events aimed to engage the community in understanding the importance of mental health and encourage open conversations about mental well-being, particularly in professional environments.





BASIC LIFE SUPPORT [BLS] AWARENESS PROGRAM
A one-day Basic Life Support (BLS) program was successfully organized at SBG College of Nursing in the SBG Auditorium. The session aimed to equip students with essential life-saving skills, including CPR, airway management, and emergency response techniques.
This hands-on training enhanced the students’ confidence in handling medical emergencies and reinforced the importance of quick and effective first-response actions in critical situations.



PROGRAM ON MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION (HEART ATTACK)
The Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing organized a health education program through a skit presentation at BIMS Hospital, Belagavi. The event focused on Myocardial Infarction (MI), commonly known as a heart attack.
The program aimed to educate the community about MI, including its symptoms, warning signs, and the importance of early detection. Through an engaging and informative skit, the participants gained valuable insights into heart health and preventive measures.
Such initiatives play a vital role in raising awareness and promoting community well-being.




WORLD DIABETES DAY
On World Diabetes Day, the students of SBG College of Nursing organized a rally and street play to raise public awareness about diabetes mellitus. The event aimed to educate the community on the importance of diabetes prevention, early diagnosis, and effective management.
Through this initiative, students actively engaged with the public, spreading awareness and encouraging healthier lifestyle choices to combat diabetes


FRESHER’S DAY
SBG College of nursing celebrated fresher’s day in the college auditorium.


MODEL PRESENTATION
The B.Sc. Nursing students of SBG College of Nursing, Belagavi, organized a model presentation on campus in the presence of the Principal, faculty, and staff.
The exhibition showcased innovative models created by students to enhance their understanding of key nursing and healthcare concepts. This interactive session allowed students to demonstrate their creativity, knowledge, and practical application of nursing sciences.




SPORTS AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES
The Annual Sports Meet was successfully organized for the students of SBG College of Nursing. The event took place in the college’s spacious playground, where students enthusiastically participated in various sports and athletic competitions.
The event aimed to promote teamwork, physical fitness, and sportsmanship among students, creating an energetic and fun-filled atmosphere on campus.





NUTRITIONAL PROGRAM
The students of SBG College of Nursing, under the guidance of their teachers, conducted an educational nutritional program to highlight the importance of good nutrition and physical activity for a healthy life.
The event focused on healthy eating habits, balanced diets, and the role of nutrition in overall well-being. Through interactive sessions and live demonstrations, students ensured the program was highly informative and engaging for all participants.




FIRST AID AWARENESS PROGRAM
SBG College of Nursing, in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society, successfully organized a First Aid Awareness Program to educate students on essential life-saving skills. The initiative aimed to enhance awareness about basic first aid techniques, empowering participants to respond effectively to medical emergencies


WORLD SUICIDE PREVENTION DAY
The students of SBG College of Nursing, along with faculty and staff, organized a suicide prevention awareness rally at Ganeshpur, Belagavi, followed by a street play at the Central Bus Stand, Belagavi.
The event aimed to educate the public on mental health awareness, recognizing warning signs of suicide, and encouraging individuals to seek help. Through the rally and skit, students spread the message of hope, support, and the importance of emotional well-being in the community
